Who’s Mikaila and why is she important?
When I was about 6 years old, I started drawing with pencils, markers and paints. I struggled with patience and persistence to get it right. I used a variety of art mediums as I grew in the field of art. Over time, I found my favorite medium to be digital art, surpassing pencil and paper and paints and canvas. I started doing digital art when I got my first tablet and stylus, and through trial and error, I got the hang of it. My love for digital art grew and grew. When I started high school, I made several friends who also shared my love for art. It was these friends who helped shape me into reaching my goals and finding the style that speaks for me.
Why’s this called the Mangonian Gallery?
This porfolio is called “The Mangonian Gallery” because “Mango” is my online name. “Mangonian” is a nickname my friend gave me solely because it sounded funny to him, but I think it sounds cool.
